The Labour Party on Thursday dismissed the Minister of Labour and Employment in responding to his petition to the Department of State Service to arrest the Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi for alleged treason.
Chief Spokesman, Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Dr. Yusuf Tanko, said Keyamo is a rabble rouser and chatter box who was making baseless accusations.
He described Keyamo as a political paper weight whose only strength is posting fake news to heat up the polity on Social media.
He said that contrary to the claim in Keyamo’s letter to the DSS, Datti Baba-Ahmed, the running mate to Obi, did not call for insurrection or anything that has to do with treason.
He stressed that the running mate to the LP Candidate only expressed his fight to freedom of expression.
Tanko said that Keyamo who talked about healing must have meant that the nation is sick and indeed realized that the general elections were marred by irregularities, violence, voters suppression and intimidation by the All Progressives Congress.
He criticized Keyamo for failure to report the Chairman Lagos State Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, who threatened non Yoruba voters in Lagos and the APC Candidate and President-elect who allegedly directed his people to grab and run with ballot materials.

1. Datti is a free citizen of this country and entitled to his fundamental right of Freedom of Expression.
2. Datti never called for insurrection or any act envisaging treason.
3. Keyamo talked about healing, that means Nigeria is sick, that means he recognised that the February 25th which announced his principal as the President Elect and the March 18 state Elections were marred with blatant rigging, high level violence, voters suppression and intimidation orchestrated by his party.
4. Surprisingly Keyamo who claims to be a ‘patriotic citizen’ closed his eyes the the ethnic and tribal vitriolic by his party and their supporters against Non Yorubas in Lagos.
The so called “patriotic citizen” didn’t report MC Oluomo who told Igbos not to vote in Lagos.
5. After the shameful Chatam House appearance of Keyamo’s principal, his principal was recorded telling key supporters to fight, snatch, grab and run with ballot boxes which was exactly what happened in the elections. Why didn’t Keyamo the “Patriotic citizen” report to the DSS.
6. Keyamo is just making baseless accusations, he’s a known Rabble rouser and chatter box who doesn’t want to loose political relevance before his paymaster who have now seen him for what he is which is a political paper weight who has achieved nothing as a minister except posting fake news to rile up the polity on social media.
