A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC Dr. Garus Gololo has advised the Nigerian populace not be deceived or easily swayed by the array of those seeking to be elected president in 2023 but to be circumspect and support only those with track record of integrity and performance.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja, Dr. Gololo maintained that the will of the people was paramount and should be well utilized in 2023.
He said the direct primaries initiative as contained in the electoral bill by the National Assembly was the way to go and should be signed into law by the president without delay.
According to the APC chieftain, direct primaries would empower the masses to decide who leads them.
Dr. Gololo advised the leadership and members of the APC to adopt the Professor Osibajo and Umaru Zulum presidential ticket for stability and rapid development of the country.
