As the 2025 edition of the Edo Men’s Cricket League enters its advanced stage, Invictus Cricket Club have yet again produced a double dose of Cricket masterclass, winning Two Matches on Saturday to further cement their place in the title contention.

At the High Performance Centre, Edo Boys High School in Ugbowo, the Invincible Invictus opened their day’s account with a resounding 82 runs victory over Crusaders Cricket Club.
The T20 game started with the Crusaders Team opting to field first. The Batters, Invictus CC scored 141 runs for the loss of 7 wickets after 20.0 overs. In the second innings, Crusaders CC were only able to record 59 runs on the Board before all their wickets were taken out by powerful bowling and fielding service from David Abiebhode, Victor Ipoli, Isaac Onyemga and their soldiers.
David Abiebhode was again called to action in the highly rated and anticipated top of the table clash against the Integrity Force CC as his 4 wickets bowling was valuable in their 7 wickets win.

The integrity Force CC this time opted to bat, but was restricted by David Abiebhode, Vincent Adewoye and Victor Ipoli’s excellent bowling. They only managed 75 runs for all Wickets out after 15.2 overs. In the second innings, Invictus had already recorded 56 runs for the loss of 3 wickets after 9.2 overs before a heavy downpour which washed off the remainder of the game, leaving the Umpires with the option to announce the 8 wickets victory after DLS method of scoring was introduced.

1. Invictus CC won Crusaders CC by 82 runs
2. No limits CC defeated U17 CC by 7 wickets
3. Invictus CC won Integrity Force CC by 8 wickets.
4. Dolphins CC won Delta force CC by 50 runs.
