Delta State APGA Senatorial Candidate for Delta Central, Mr. Peters Omaruaye

…As Ogboru flags off campaign in Delta South Senatorial District

Mr. Peters Omaruaye, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Delta Central Senatorial District Candidates said yesterday, at the flag-off of the APGA campaign in Oleh, Delta State, that, APGA in Delta State, with Chief Great Ogboru as the leader stands as the only vehicle through which development can be delivered at the grassroots level.

Mr. Omaruaye made this statement at the Civic Centre in Oleh, headquarters of Isoko South Local Government Area on Thursday, January 12th, 2023 with a pledge to ensure that Deltans are liberated from bad leadership.

The Senatorial hopeful and frontrunner expressed optimism that the party is ready to deliver Ogboru and all APGA candidates in the forthcoming General Elections, noting that APGA as a political party has come to stay in Delta State with Chief Ogboru as the leader. He added that without any doubt, “this is a unique opportunity for Deltans to attain prosperity, peace, and progress”. He, therefore, urged members of the party to be fully committed to the Jubilee Campaign.

Speaking further, Mr. Omaruaye said his support for Ogboru is not because he is perfect but because of his proven excellent track record as someone who can use the resources of the state to lead the state to prosperity with good governance as his core value.

Mr. Omaruaye said he was very excited with the turnout of APGA members and further extolled the qualities of Ogboru to develop the state. He added that he was committed to ensuring that come march 2023 Ogboru will emerge as the governor of Delta State. He called on the general public to support the people’s general in his quest to win the upcoming gubernatorial election in the state.

Omaruaye eulogized the introduction of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) and said it will mark the waterloo of election riggers in Delta State and Nigeria in general. He noted that Communities will now have a better chance to make their votes count as vote fraudsters now have a new challenge with the use of BVAS. He said Great Ogboru is the governor Delta State has not had since inception due to election rigging and that was about to change with BVAS.

“Great Ogboru is the Governor that Delta State hasn’t had since inception, a man who has an exceptional Vision for Delta State, a man who sleeps, wakes up and breathes the solutions to the total degradation we’ve experienced in the last 20 + odd years. Great Ogboru stands tall over every governor that has ever ruled Delta State in the past, how much more this so called candidates contesting today. The choice for Deltans is simple, choose excellence over mediocrity to actualize the Jubilee we so badly need in this state and indeed the entire country.

Addressing members of the party in Oleh, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, the APGA Gubernatorial candidate in Delta State, alongside his wife, Chief Mrs. Ebi Ogboru, his deputy gubernatorial candidate, the state party chairman and other dignitaries present, said he was very happy addressing the mammoth crowd that came out to welcome him. He thanked the men and women who have been in the struggle since 2003 for their patience and show of love. He thanked those who gave their precious time to attend the very important occasion and are still very ready to continue their support to birth a better Delta State.

Speaking on the advantage of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), Chief Ogboru said with its compulsory use in the 2023 General Elections, criminal elements within the country, to steal votes will have no business contesting for electoral positions as BVAS will put an end to election rigging. He, therefore, urged everyone who has not gotten a copy of the APGA Jubilee Program to try and get one as that remains the blueprint on how Delta state will be governed.
