An eye witness has informed Crossfire Reports that a police patrol team in Ekpoma, Edo State has run over a Nigerian in Ekpoma because he refused the police access to his phone.

An attempt by Crossfire Reports to get the gost behind a trending online video showing a handcuffed adult Nigerian male being driven over by a Toyota Sienna van led to this disclosure.

According to our eye witness source;

“The officers wanted to check his phone but he refused. They handcuffed him and wanted to take him to the station but he refused.

“People gathered and said there was no way the police officer was going to arrest the boy. When the pressure was too much for them, the officers got into their can and wanted to leave without uncuffing him.

“In a bid to stop them from leaving him like that, he lay down in front of their car, hoping they will not move it, but they did run over him as seen in the video.
