A socio-political group in the state under the auspices of New Generation leaders of Bayelsa state have raised alarm over plans by the PDP led government of Bayelsa state to arrest and intimidate APC Chieftains in the state in a bid to whittle down the growing population of the Party.
The group noted that there are currently backyard arrangements to arrest a former chieftain of the PDP who is now a member of the APC, Hon. Victor Isaiah on grounds of false claims.
In a statement by Apostle Bodmas Prince Kemepadei DG New Generation leaders, he called the attention of the public to the plot and advised that attempts to intimidate APC supporters will be resisted by committed party faithfuls.
Apostle Bodmas also called on security agencies to be non partisan and avoid being object to intimidate APC supporters.
