Nasarawa Police Arrest Mother of One, Recover Anti Aircraft Ammunition Hidden inside Palm Oil

Police operatives in Nasarawa state attached to Keffi Division have arrested one Hauwa Sani ‘F’ alongside a 2 years old child from Doro village, Katsina state.

The Command’s spokesman, DSP Ramhan Nansel who confirmed the incident, said she was arrested on Aug. 23 at about 1710hrs, based on credible information.

He said that 124 rounds of anti aircraft ammunition concealed in a gallon of palm oil, one Tecno mobile phone, and N78,500 cash were recovered from the suspect as exhibit.

“Preliminary findings revealed that the suspect received supply of the ammunition at Rafin Sanyi village of Doma Local government area of Nasarawa state, and concealed the items in a gallon of palm oil en route Katsina state before nemesis caught up with her.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada has ordered the transfer of the suspect and exhibit to Force Intelligence Department, Force Headquarters Abuja for further investigation and commended the officers for a Job well done”, Nansel added.
