One of the current Nigeria Cricket Federation coaches, Mr. Daniel Dauda Gim has successfully passed the ICC Level 3 Coaching Course.
This is according to Mr. Emeka Igwilo, General Manager, Nigerian Cricket Federation (NCF) in a statement today, October 29, 2025.
Quoting an email release today by Mr. Abhishek Shekhawat, Manager ‑ Participation Programmes
International Cricket Council (ICC) :
“We are pleased to share the assessment outcome for the coach nominated by Nigeria Cricket Federation for the ICC Global Level 3 Coaching Course held in Bahrain from 26–30 May 2025.
Daniel David Gim has successfully met the required competency standards and is now formally recognised as an ICC Level 3 Coach.
Candidates scoring 80% or above are assessed as Competent and qualify as ICC Level 3 Coaches.
The President of Nigeria Cricket Federation, Mr. Uyi Akpata has congratulated Daniel Gim on the result and for being a good ambassador.
The President stated that the Federation will continue to give opportunity to the Coaches and Umpires in Nigeria for them to build capacity and advance in the ever changing game.
Apart from the Coaches and Umpires, NCF also extends opportunity to players to upskill their performances.
