The President of Nigeria Cricket Federation, Dr. Uyi Akpata has expressed appreciation to ICC-AFRICA and the entire ICC family for their support to the Federation’s growth and success.
Dr. Uyi stated this during his speech at the just concluded 2 days Strategic Sessions held in Lagos from 7th to 8th of November 2025. He stated that ICC through her guidelines and guardians have been deeply involved in shaping the directions and progress made by the Federation.
He further used the opportunity to appreciate Mr. Justine Ligyalingi, the acting ICC Development Manager -Africa and members of his Team for the cooperation, support and statistical presentations and analysis on NCF scorecard and on field performances.
Apart from being an orientation period for the newly inaugurated Board as well as the Management Staff, the two day sessions also had other resource persons which included
Prof. Jacques Faul, Chief Executive Officer of Titans Cricket Club, South Africa and Eddy Fwamba, Brand Marketing and Commercial Consultant.
In line with the Nigeria Cricket Federation’s target to continue to maintain good corporate governance, the Sessions remain a constant step of reviewing the overall goals and aspirations of the Federation.
