The (INC) has officially released the list of candidates approved to contest in the 2026 National Elections, as cleared by the National Electoral Committee (N-ELECO 2026). The announcement was made from the INC Secretariat along Sani Abacha Expressway, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, and has been made available to Arogbo-Ibe Voice Reporters for publication and dissemination.
The list covers positions across the Central, Eastern, and Western zones of the INC and includes candidates for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, and other key national offices.

The committee overseeing the elections is chaired by HRM Justice Dr. F.F. Tabai (Rtd), with Dr. Olobo Choice Jamaica as Secretary.
Speaking on the occasion, HRM Justice Dr. Tabai emphasized that the INC remains committed to ensuring a transparent, fair, and credible electoral process. He called on all candidates and members to uphold the values of integrity, unity, and service to the Ijaw nation.
“The approved list of candidates reflects a balance of experience, leadership, and commitment to the INC’s ideals,” Dr. Tabai stated. “We expect all parties to conduct themselves responsibly and maintain the dignity of the electoral process.”
The INC leadership highlighted that the 2026 elections are crucial for strengthening the organizational structure, promoting leadership by service, and ensuring that the voices of all Ijaw communities are represented at the national level.
