Nigerian music super star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his estranged wife, Natasha, reportedly had a confrontation at an event in Abuja on Friday night, barely two months after their separation.
The incident allegedly occurred at the grand opening of Faze’s 90s Lounge in Abuja, where 2Baba was billed to perform.
A senior member of 2Baba’s management team, who disclosed the development, said tension arose after Natasha reportedly arrived at the venue with several security personnel and other men.
According to the source, the group allegedly attempted to take 2Baba away from the venue, resulting in a confrontation between the singer and members of his team on one side and Natasha’s entourage on the other.
The management source further stated that 2Baba and Natasha had been separated for more than two months, although the reason for their presence at the same event was not immediately clear.
Details surrounding the alleged confrontation remained sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
It was also unclear whether anyone sustained injuries or whether security personnel made any arrests in connection with the incident.
