MANY TRAPPED AS FOUR-STOREY BUILDING COLLAPSES ON A BUNGALOW IN UYO

A four-Storey building has collapsed on a bungalow in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital on Saturday.

The collapsed building is located at Iman Street by Nsentip off Aka Road.

The Network reported it gathered that the building collapsed on the bungalow behind Zenith Bank on Akah Road.

Several people are said to be trapped in the collapsed four-storey building under construction.

According to eyewitness, those trapped in the collapsed building are construction workers who were working on the building.

The Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem is leading rescue team to the scene.

A source at the scene said about four persons are said to have been rescued at the moment and taken to hospital
