God is the only Foundation he knows and He alone is the fulcrum of his desire to serve his people of Delta Central Senatorial District for this two inseparable reasons, coupled with the fact that his hope is anchored on the Solid Rock of Jesus Christ. Mr. Peters Omaruaye the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA Delta Central Senatorial District said before he commences his electioneering Campaign he must first seek the face of God.
He made this declarative statement while dedicating his Campaign Team and Structure to God at Saint Andrew’s Anglican Cathedral, Okere Road, Warri, Delta State. The occasion also featured the Omaruaye Family Thanksgiving as well and attracted the presence of Chief Great Ovadje Ogboru the Governorship Candidate of the party, Mr. George Timinimi, Delta South Senatorial District Candidate of the party and others as well.
The Vicar of the Cathedral Venerable Paul Whiskel said that by the grace of God within couple of months,Mr Omaruaye will come back for another Thanksgiving in the same Cathedral as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.Highlights of the occasion was offering of prayers by Venerable Whiskel assisted by other officiating Ministers to Mr. Omaruaye, his campaign crew and delegates present .By seeking favor, good health and strength for them in order to be victorious in the race .
In an interview with newsmen Mr Omaruaye said his action to step into the race was necessated by call on Christians to contest for Political positions.He said he does not believe that the crisis in the other Political parties are added advantage to his party, rather he will focus on what they are going to deliver to the masses .
” Whatever problem other parties may have it is not our making it is their business.We are focused on what we are going to do for the people and going by how the next election is going to be conducted which is going to be based on BVAS, popularity will count we have the grassroots and we going to win.We have been winning before now and somehow it gets sabotaged .So since the 2023 election is going to be based on BVAS we are going to win ”
He said that they are wiser now and they using those who have been with them right from the beginning as their Flagbearers just as he declared that his consultation so far has been wonderful..
The ,7 Local Government Areas I have visited so far has been amazing it shows that our people are ready to go with us”
On whether his late father who was a former member of the then Bendel State House of Assembly influenced his life politically, he said that the fruits do not fall far from the mother tree.
Adding after over 20 years in politics he decided to take a shot at elective position after pressure from a lot of angles.
