Asaba, the Delta State capital was thrown into ecstacy as the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, stormed the city on the 4th January, 2023.
The former Kano state governor was in Ogwashi-uku to commission the campaign office of Hon. Anthony Onochie Ochei, the NNPP candidate for Aniocha Oshimili Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives election coming up on the 25th of February, 2023.
The NNPP standard bearer interacted with party faithfuls and supporters before proceeding to Oko where he was received by a mammoth crowd of the Arewa community.
He later moved to the palace of Asagba of Asaba, where he and his team were welcomed warmly by His Royal Majesty, the Asagba of Asaba Prof. Joseph Chike Edozien and his palace chiefs.
Anioma, particularly Asaba was agog and the crowd pledged their support for Sen. Kwakwanso for president and Tony Ochei (Onocheiobodo) for House of Representatives and other party candidates in Delta state in the upcoming elections.
