In a strategic move to strengthen his leadership team following his emergence as the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Benjamin Obiora Nwoye has appointed Hon. Ginika Florence Tor as his Principal Liaison Officer.

The appointment, which takes immediate effect, underscores Nwoye’s commitment to building a dynamic and inclusive structure that leverages experienced grassroots mobilisers and seasoned administrators to advance the party’s agenda across the South-East, South-South, South-West and the nation at large.

Hon. Tor, an Enugu-born political leader, former Federal Commissioner who represented Enugu State at the Federal Character Commission, and a renowned advocate for women and youth empowerment, brings extensive experience in public service, stakeholder engagement and community mobilisation to the role.

In a statement made available to newsmen, Nwoye expressed confidence in her capacity, describing her as “a tested grassroots mobiliser, a born leader and a committed party faithful whose dedication to the ideals of the APC remains exemplary.”

The appointment is expected to strengthen liaison efforts between the Office of the Deputy National Chairman, key stakeholders, party structures and government institutions.

This is as the APC intensifies efforts toward healing, reconciliation and consolidation of its gains ahead of the 2027 general elections.
