Bauchi State is gearing up for a grand celebration of sporting excellence as Governor Bala Mohammed and former NFF President, Alhaji Aminu Maigari, headline the list of distinguished honorees at the prestigious Kauran Bauchi Sports Awards, organized by Vengary Sports Centre Enterprise.
The ceremony, scheduled for November 22, 2025, will take place at the 1,000-Seater Lecture Theatre Hall of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Yelwa Campus, where leading figures in sports administration, coaching, athletics, journalism, and philanthropy will receive well-deserved recognition.
A powerful lineup of sports personalities and administrators will grace the event, including Senator Abdul Ningi, Alhaji Sani Ahmed Toro, Hon. Zubairu Sani (FIFA), Commissioner Babayo (Gabarin), Commissioner Salees Gamawa, Engineer Auwal Gotel (Chairman, Wikki Tourists), Hon. Auwal Babajada, along with top sports journalists who have played pivotal roles in advancing sports across Bauchi State.
