BREAKING: LP’s Edeoga takes the lead in Enugu governorship election

Labour Party (LP) Governorship Candidate in Enugu, Hon. Chijioke Edeoga, has taken a slip lead over his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Mr Peter Mbah, in yesterday’s election.

Edeoga is leading with 436 votes according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which on Sunday declared results of eight local government areas in the state.

The results announced showed both Mbah and Edeoga clinching four LGAs each.

Here is the breakdown as announced at the state collation office at Enugu INEC headquarters:
