A 26-year-old man who tried to rape a cow was gored by the animal and had to be rescued by police.
The man had stripped naked and tried to mount the cow. The animal reacted violently, pinning him to the ground and goring him.
Evgenii Kuvshinov, a Russian, went to a male bull before turning his attention to a female tied to a wooden fence.
It happened in a field in Surat Thani, southern Thailand, yesterday afternoon.
Concerned locals had already called the police. They suspected the Russian was up to no good when they saw him prowling naked,
So, they went closer when they heard his cries for help as the cows attacked him. The locals stood next to him and waited for officers to arrive.
Shocking footage showed naked Kuvshinov lying on the ground. He was held down by the brown cow he wanted to rape.
Police and paramedics arrived at the scene and carried the Russian away on a stretcher. He was taken to the Bannaderm Hospital for wounds on his bottom and abrasions all over his body.
Meanwhile, a paramedic from the Ban Na Doem Foundation who treated Kuvshinov said they suspected he had been trying to have sex with the cow.
They said: “We found cannabis in his car so maybe he was high. His actions suggest that he was trying to do something dirty with the cow, that he was trying to have sex with her.” (Vanguard)
