Cricket  Umpires And Scorers  from the North  Central Zone of Nigera are set for training In Abuja according to a press statement by Musa Ehizoje Bodie, National Chairman of Association of Cricket Umpires of Nigeria (ACUSN).

In the press State Mr. Ehizoje said, “as Nigeria maintains her quest in the development of Cricket in Nigeria, The Association of Cricket Umpires and Scorers of Nigeria (ACUSN) is living up to her reputation as they continue to build capacity and improve the standard of Umpires and Officiating across the country. All is now set to organise the Intermediate Umpire and Scorers Seminar for the North Central Zone”.

The statement said, 5 states have been scheduled for the training namely Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Plateau and Host Abuja.

“You may recall that in May 2021, training was successfully conducted for the South East Region, followed by the South-South in July. The North Central training will take place at the Board Room of the Goodluck Jonathan High Performance Center,  Package B’ Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja, on Saturday 21st August 2021” the statement further said.

In conclusion, the statement said, “the seminar is designed into 2 sessions. The first session will be based on theory where participants will be trained extensively on the Laws of Cricket, while the second session will be based on Practical”.
