Cultists Kill Man, Threaten To Kill More In Lagos

An inter cult war between cult groups in
Somolu, Lagos, has resulted in the death of a man after he was hacked down.

According to reports, the alleged cultists hacked a 39 year old man, identified as Mojeed Akeem to death in Bajulaiye, Somolu, Lagos.The gang also threatened to kill more in the area.

It was gathered that the gunmen said to be members of Aiye confraternity in their numbers invaded the Alarape market at about 11: 15pm on Sunday, and killed Akeem where he was sleeping and hacked him to death, It was learned that  their victim was working in the market.

“Because of the incident, the market had been shutdown to honour him. He was a nice person. The cultists threatened that they would come back to the market to kill more people .

“Those who were in the market when they came where able to identify two faces among the killers, one is Lakuta, while the other person is Tefeesi.

“We are appealing to the state Commissioner of Police to help us in Somolu and Bariga. We are overwhelmed by cult activities in both communities. The CP, Idowu Owohunwa should please help us direct the Divisional Police Officer of Bariga and Alade to storm the kidnappers hideouts and smoke them out.

“We are dying in silence .One Ramoni alias Cat Face is the leader of Aiye group, I want him arrested,” the eyewitness said.
