The Edo State Ministry of Communication and Orientation has commenced a 5 day enlightenment campaign on collection of PVCs.
The excercise took the Orientation team of the Ministry to markets and motor parks in Egor Local Government Area, educating members of the public on the need to collect their PVCs which empowers them to vote. They were also informed to get the PVCs at their various wards from 6th to 15th January and subsequent collection at INEC offices in their Local Government Areas from 16th to 22nd January 2023, between 9am and 3pm daily.
The enlightenment campaign team visited Ekiuwa, Oliha Market, Ogida Market, Uwelu Spare Parts Markets, Textile Mill road, Uselu Market, Uselu Motor Park, Oluku, Iguosa, Ugbowo and environs.
The excercise continues tomorrow with visits to markets in other Local Government Areas.
The Orientation excercise which commenced today is expected to end on Friday, the 13th of January 2023.
