The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, has lost his 24-year old daughter, Fatima Kyari.
Fatima Kyari was said to have died today, Friday, October 11, 2024.
Her death was confirmed by the Vice, President Kashim Shettima, who condoled with the bereaved family.
The Vice President was among the mourners who witnessed the funeral prayers held at the Annur Mosque in Abuja.
Shettima prayed to God for the repose of the soul of the deceased and asked God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the sad, painful loss.
He said that Fatimah’s death was indeed painful as she was in the prime of her life when the sudden death occurred.
The 24-year-old has since been buried according to Islamic rights in Abuja.
