The recent attacks in Kwara and Kebbi are another painful reminder that terrorists are now operating across the North without fear of the State.

When criminals can invade a Police Outpost in Patigi, kill Officers, attack Church in Eruku, abduct schoolgirls in Kebbi, and walk away untouched, it simply means one thing, the Federal Government has lost operational control.

From Niger to Zamfara, Kaduna to Plateau, Katsina to Kebbi and now Kwara, too many communities are living under the shadow of terrorists.

Villagers pay taxes to bandits. Schools are unsafe. Police posts have become war zones. This is not governance, this is abandonment.

My heart goes out to the families affected in Kwara and Kebbi. But condolences are not enough.

Nigeria needs a drastic overhaul of its security architecture before the Nation slips into a stage we can no longer pull back from. Some units and formations need to be disbanded, and recomposed, as clear evidence of terrorist infiltration becomes clearer.

Action is needed now not in 2026 and not in 2027!
