There was a fire incident at the CON Oil filling Station in area 10, Abuja today.
The Network reported it gathered that the fire incident occurred around 3.58 pm at the busy area not far from the headquarters of the Federal Fire Service at the Central Area, Abuja.
It was learnt that the fire which started started from the storage tanks burnt down the entire filling station.
According to an eyewitness, the fire started when a tanker which was offloading fuel spilled some fuel.
Officials of the Federal Fire Service who were quickly drafted to fight the fire cordoned area thereby causing traffic gridlock in the area.
The Network gathered that the fire fighting unit from the Army and the Navy supported the Federal Fire Service in fighting the fire.
Although some cars were burnt, no life was lost in the unfortunate incident.
