The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Flag-Bearer for Edo North Senatorial District of Edo State, and Etsako Federal House of Reps in the 2023 general election, Hon. Paschal Ugbome Esq, and Eng Moses Omo Ikirodah, yesterday, 23rd October, 2022, donated assorted relief materials worth millions of naira to flood victims in Etsako Central Local Government Government Area of Edo State.
“Hon. Paschal Ugbome, and Eng Moses Omo Ikirodah and their teams played host to his Royal Highness, Alhaji D.Y.E Kanoba , the Eghiegbai !! of Ekperi. The Royal Highness offered a word of prayer stressing they will succeed to represent their people.
“The affected communities include, Osomegbe, Udaba-Ekperi, Anegbette, Ofukpo, Agbabu and Udochi. These cut across Ward 8,9, and 10 of Estako Central.
“At Osomegbe, the chairman of I.D.P in the entire Ekperi was on ground to receive them. He appreciated them for their kind gesture and for identifying with them.
“The Oliola of Anegbette, G.Y.M, Ugbodaga lamented that the flood could have been prevented if the government had done the needful. He therefore expressed confidence in Hon, Paschal Ugbome and Eng Moses Omo Ikirodah that if voted, they will pressure the government to do what is expected of them.
“The people’s oriented Edo North Senatorial Candidate, a man with impeccable character, a pragmatic leader and of course, the People’s Choice, in person of, Hon. Paschal Ugbome Esq , as well as his formidable campaign council were fully on ground to sympathize with flood victims in Etsako Central Local Government area of Edo State.
The hopeful Lawmaker, The People’s Choice of candidate, Hon. Paschal Ugbome Esq, encouraged the victims to remain steadfast and focused, never to lose faith in God even in their trying times as their plight will finally be addressed by the time he is elected as the peoples Senator, come 2023.
The flood victims, in their separate interviews with the campaign Media prayed for the Hopeful Lawmaker, and pleaded for him to encourage other relevant stakeholders across the Senatorial and the state at large to come to their rescue.
The statemebt concluded that, “Without being told, Ominimini 1 of the universe is indeed the People’s Choice as the People can’t wait to experience a robust and dynamic representation come 2023.”
