Mr. Otiki Gbodo has assured the former governor of Bayelsa State and Senator Representing Bayelsa West, His Excellency Sen. Seriake Dickson that his philanthropic gestures is aimed at empowering SMEs and youths in order to up-scale their contributions to the development to frontally tackle the rising youth unemployment in Peretoru Community, Bayelsa West Senatorial District and beyond .
Mr. Otiki Gbodo Otiki Deinbolouadougha made this known to Sen. Seriake Dickson who was represented by the Commissioner for General Duties, Bayelsa West, Hon. Micheal Magbisa in his residence in Yenagoa.
Mr. Gbodo in welcoming the entourage of the former governor equally pledged his Unwavering support to the Governor Douye Diri’s policies and programs geared towards up-skilling and the development of Peretoru Community, Bayelsa West and beyond.
Sen. Seriake Dickson while expressing his satisfaction in the human capital development schemes of Mr. Otiki Gbodo, noted that SMEs will deepen economic growth and fight poverty not just in Peretoru, West Senatorial District, but Bayelsa State.

Micheal Michael Magbisa while encouraging Mr. Otiki Gbodo to continue with his gestures, harped on the need for Bayelsans to key into the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Scheme of the Prosperity administration led by Governor Douye Diri, the SMEs programs and policies of the Senator, Representing Bayelsa West, HE. Hon. Magbisa said Mr. Otiki Gbodo’s effort in changing the narrative by empowering young minds came at a time when government and private sector players from Bayelsa West needed to jointly collaborate to improve the growth of the business climate in a sustainable way to deepen the development of the people.
Hon. Magbisa in his bid to preaching unity of purpose, seeks the collaborative effort of all leaders both the public and private sector in Bayelsa West to muster ideas geared towards deliberatly supporting the Governor Douye Diri led Prosperity administration and the Senator Representing Bayelsa West, Sen. Seriake Dickson.
For the records, Mr. Otiki Gbodo has earlier doled N5MILLION to SMEs owned by people with disabilities, out N2.5 Million to the Peretoru Student Association to offset their school fees, sponsored medical bills for the elderly in the society, sponsorship of over 30 persons through their primary, secondary and University.
