Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the House of Representatives majority leader, has reacted to the tragic accident at Ojuelegba involving a trailer and a container that fell off the Ojuelegba bridge and landed on two cars killing three people on Wednesday, September 2.

The majority leader who representing Surulere Federal Constituency in a series of tweets yesterday, September 3, sympathized with families of victims and expressed disappointment in the condition that led to the unfortunate event.
He also said that the act of negligence of trailer drivers must be criminalized and people should be held responsible for their negligence.
Ojuelegba area of Lagos state is under Gbajabiamila’s constituency.

Meanwhile, a petition challenging the victory of the House leader, Femi Gbajabiamila of the All Progressives Congress (APC) would be delivered by the Lagos state National Assembly election petitions tribunal on September 28.
