Governor Obaseki Condoles with Rt. Hon. Ifaluyi Isibor’s Family

Edo State Governor,  Mr. Godwun.Onaseki has condoled with the family of late Rt. Hon. Ifaluyi Isibor, father of the Edo Sttate Commisioner for Technology and Digital Economy who died recently in Benin City.

In a Condolence message issued by Governor Obaseki, he described late Hon. Isibor as an accomplished geologist, a consummate politician, and a cerebral entrepreneur who achieved remarkable success in the various endeavours he pursued.

Governor Obaseki further said that the late Isibor as a member of the Federal House of Representatives and Federal Commissioner, was at the forefront of promoting the interests of his constituents and advocating for development, articulating their needs, and speaking truth to power when it mattered the most.

“I received with a rude shock the news of the passing of Rt. Hon. Ifaluyi Isibor, father of the Edo State Honourable Commissioner for Technology and Digital Economy and former member representing Egor/Ikpoba Okha Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

“Late Isibor was an accomplished geologist, a consummate politician, and a cerebral entrepreneur who achieved remarkable success in the various endeavours he pursued.

“A jovial, kind-hearted, and compassionate gentleman, he remained true to his commitment to excellence and dedication to societal development until his last days.

“As a lawmaker and Federal Commissioner, he was at the forefront of promoting the interests of his constituents and advocating for development, articulating their needs, and speaking truth to power when it mattered the most.

“He espoused integrity and hard work as life’s most cherished virtues and passed these noble ideals on to his children. His son, Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor, is continuing in the tradition of excellence that the family is known for.

Governor Obseki said the late Isibor will be remembered for his candour, commitment to community development, and an unwavering drive to effect change in society.

The governor offered his deepest condolences to his son and Commissioner for Technology and Digital Economy, Hon. Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor, the Isibor family, friends, associates, and well-wishers, and prayed that God will grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
