A Socio-political group, Ifedore Unity Alliance has claimed that the incumbent Federal Lawmaker representing Ifedore/Idanre Federal Constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye and a fellow Aspirant of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Mr. Biodun Mushood Bakare who is also seeking to contest the House of Representatives Election come 2023 have given up their pursuit of contesting the election.

The group stated this through its spokesperson, Mr.Segun Adewale shortly after the meeting of the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN with Aspirants of the Party who are currently seeking to contest for various political posts in the Party.

According to Mr. Adewale, Biodun Mushood Bakare and Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye who both missed the meeting with the Ondo State Governor did so out of their acknowledgment of the fact that they have no confidence in their popularity and political wits to win the election.

In his words, “It is quite obvious that the two who have expressed their interest to contest the seat come 2023 have given up else they would have been here today, heeding the call of the Governor for this important occasion”

The group also revealed that, the duo do not have what it takes to compete with Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun who is also seeking to contest the election come 2023.
