The ICC Cricket World Cup Tour of Nigeria took place on 29th and 30th of August, 2023. The 2023 Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophý was received in Abuja and Lagos on the 29th and 30th of August respectively.
The Minister of the FCT, NCF President and Board members, Nissan Nigeria MD (sponsors) as well as the FCT community of Cricketers made of Cricket Club Abuja, Millennium Cricket Club members, Indians and Pakistanis based in Abuja, Abuja based Cricket Veterans were all on hand to welcome the August Trophy.
