His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, CON, has hailed, Dr. Chima Ulero, Medical Director of Medical City Hospital, Owerri, for what he described as, “worthy investment in medical tourism”.

Hon. Ihedioha disclosed this Saturday, when he commissioned the state of the art facility located at Egbu, Owerri North LGA of Imo State.

The facility, according to the Managing Director, “is a private indigenous medical facility, built to meet the medical needs of Imo residents and South East in general”.

Hon. Ihedioha expressed satisfaction that the multi million Naira hospital will add a lot of value to the state, especially in the area of providing quality healthcare delivery to citizens.

While commending the Medical Director, for bringing such huge investment back home, he encouraged Imolites especially Owerri residents and its environs to take advantage of the facility for their health needs.

In his speech, Dr. Chima Ulero, Medical Director of the Hospital, thanked Hon. Ihedioha for his presence to inaugurate the facility.

He assured that the facility is ready to provide quality and affordable services to the people.

Rt. Hon. Kelechi Nwagwu, former Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly was on ground on arrival of Hon. Ihedioha, who was accompanied by the Imo State Deputy Chairman of PDP, Sir Martin Ejiogu, Rt. Hon. Chuma Nnaji, Sir Bon Unachukwu, Rt. Hon. Lawman Duruji, Dr. Perry Njoku, Engr Rex Okoro, Comr. Ebube Mbah, Amb. Ajachukwu Eze among others.
