Kidnappers Strike At Post-Nigerian Army Estate in Kurudu, Abuja

Gunmen struck yesterday, January 18th, at about 9.30 p.m. at the Nigerian Army Post Service Estate in Kurudu, Abuja, FCT.

Information gathered by Crossfire Reports indicates that gunmen invaded Hilltop Phase 2 Extension of the Nigerian Army Post-Housing Estate and kidnapped a popular businesswoman as reported by Daily Post. The heavily armed men were said to have invaded the area around 9.30 p.m., shooting sporadically to scare residents. It was gathered that despite the presence of soldiers in the estate, the kidnappers went away with the woman through the hillside.

Crossfire Reports can confirm the the military has moved in with heavy equipment, including two armored personnel carriers packed at the entrance of Phase 2 Post-Army Estate, Kurudu.
