India is currently building the Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod Coastal Highway. It runs parallel to the Arabian Sea along the Kerala coastline. It is 625 Km in total length and the construction will conclude this year, 2026.
Nigeria’s Coastal Highway runs 700 km from Lagos to Calabar. It is parallel to the Atlantic.
India’s 625km Coastal Highways costs $780 million. Extrapolate to 700km … thats $870 million total.
Nigeria’s Coastal Highway costs…..
Well, no one is sure what Nigeria’s Coastal Highway costs. The lower estimate is $11 Billion. The higher estimate is $15 Billion
Now let’s use the lower estimate for our calculations.
Nigeria’s 700km Coastal Highway costs 13 times more than India’s Coastal Highway. Similar terrain. Around same time – 2025.
Nigeria is paying $10.13 Billion HIGHER than India is paying basically for the same road

Our minds have been abused, insulted and insulated by all these heavy money numbers that they constantly throw around. So permit me to disabuse your mind.

$10.13 billion can pay all federal civil servants in Nigeria N1m a month minimum wage for 22 months
