The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on its members, supporters and all eligible Nigerians to take advantage of the ongoing Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Permanent Voter Card (PVC) registration exercise, describing the voter card as a vital tool for shaping the country’s future.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Osa Director, Esq., made the appeal during the NDC’s PVC registration mobilization exercise, urging Nigerians to actively participate in the electoral process by registering and obtaining their PVCs.

He stressed that the Permanent Voter Card remains the most powerful instrument through which citizens can determine the nation’s leadership and influence the direction of governance through the ballot box.

Barr. Director particularly encouraged young people and first-time voters not to miss the opportunity to register, noting that meaningful national transformation begins with citizens exercising their democratic rights.

According to him, Nigerians must unite in pursuit of a new nation where justice, accountability, economic opportunities and good governance are guaranteed, while hope is restored to citizens.

He also urged eligible voters who desire positive change to prepare for the next general elections and support the NDC presidential ticket of Mr. Peter Obi and Dr. Musa Kwankwaso, describing them as leaders with the vision, integrity and capacity to transform Nigeria.

The NDC spokesperson reaffirmed the party’s commitment to promoting credible leadership, national unity, economic prosperity, improved security and the restoration of hope for all Nigerians.

He concluded by reminding citizens that their Permanent Voter Card is both their voice and their power, urging every eligible Nigerian to register and participate in building a better Nigeria through the democratic process.
