Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo appear to have a stranglehold on the top two spots in world football, the pair continually battling it out to win the Ballon d’Or – and both sure to reckon into the upcoming Goal 50.

But who is the next best? Could it be Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski? Or Messi’s teammate Neymar? Or even, maybe, Chris Smalling?!
