The Nigeria Army, NA has placed the general public on alert over the publication currently circulating on social media and other online platforms, falsely claiming that application for 90 Regular Recruitment Intake has commenced.
A press statement signed by Captain AU Hammanga, Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Directorate of Recruitment on September, 5, 2025 said the publication is false, misleading and should be disregarded in its entirety. The statement said, for emphasis, the Nigerian Army maintains a clear and official procedure for announcing recruitment exercises and related activities. Authentic information regarding recruitment will only be published through the Nigerian Army’s verified official platforms.
“The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to a fake publication circulating on social media and other online platforms, falsely claiming that application for 90 Regular Recruitment Intake has commenced.
“The publication is false, misleading and should be disregarded in its entirety. For emphasis, the Nigerian Army maintains a clear and official procedure for announcing recruitment exercises and related activities. Authentic information regarding recruitment will only be published through the Nigerian Army’s verified official platforms. The public is therefore urged to ignore the fake publication in circulation.
“The Nigerian Army will duly inform the public through its official channels once the portal for 90 Regular Recruitment Intake is formally opened. We remain committed to transparency and professionalism in all recruitment processes and strongly caution the public against falling prey to fraudsters.
