Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin on Sunday, continued with their show of resilience, as they held Niger Tornadoes to a goalless draw to pick valuable away point.

The Match Day Eight played at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, saw the host team throwing everything at Insurance FC in search of goal throughout the duration but the visitors remained solid till the end.

Chisom Okereke was close to opening his goal account for Insurance in the 38th and 58th minutes of play but his shots went wide just as
Benjamin Tanimu was the saviour for Insurance as his smart check thwarted Tornadoes’ counter attack in the 59th minute of play.

The Benin Arsenals’ stand-in captain Amas Obasogie did not disappoint in protecting his goal territory as his reflexes made it difficult for Tornadoes to be rewarded for their hardwork.

Recall that the Benin Arsenals also snatched a point from Doma Utd on Wednesday after a goalless draw before traveling to Kaduna to get the same result at Tornadoes, thereby earning two straight away points.

Insurance FC now have twelve points from the seven games they have played so far and will be host to Kwara United in the Match Day Nine fixture.
