OGBORU, OMARUAYE, TIMIMINI AND OTHERS CELEBRATE WITH THE AFRICAN CHURCH

Date line: Sunday, December 4th 2022. Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Delta State, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, accompanied by his wife Chief (Mrs.) Ebi Ogboru, the Delta Central and South Senatorial Candidates of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Mr. Peters Omaruaye and Chief Hon. George Timimini and other members of the party joined members of the African Church along Odio road, Warri, to celebrate their annual Harvest Thanksgiving Services with the Theme, “Harvest of Great Benefits”, Psalm 68:19.

Speaking during the service, His Lordship, Rt. Rev. Best Odeworitse Agbolayah on behalf of the church appreciated Chief Ogboru and his entourage for honouring his invitation as a Special Guest of Honour, despite the tight schedule and therefore, asked God to bless all in Jesus name.

Speaking further, the man of God said the easiest and fastest way to connect with God is to offer him sacrifice and thank him for all he has done for us.

Responding, Chief Ogboru thanked Rt. Rev. Oderworitse for making him a rallying point for spiritual rejuvenation for all. He said, “Delta State needs peace and we believe that this adoration ground would provide solutions to all our problems in Jesus name.

Rt. Rev. Oderworitse Agbolayah offered an intercessory prayer for Ogboru, his wife, Omaruaye, Timimini and other members of the party.

OMARUAYE VISITS POLITICAL GROUPS.

Mr. Peters Omaruaye later in the day paid courtesy visits to political groups under the umbrella of All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA as follows; New Vision, New Delta and Delta Force Movement Forum (DFM).
The colourful ceremony took place along DSC express road Ovwian and DSC township all in Udu Local Government Area.

Speaking during the visitations, Mr. Peters Omaruaye appreciated the groups for identifying with him. He noted that the role the groups are playing in the promotion of APGA is key to the enlightenment of Deltans come 2023 and pledged to reciprocate their support using the instrument of legislation and other tools of governance within his reach when elected . He further expressed delight at having members of the groups as his constituents and prayed for God’s continued favour upon them.

Continueing, Omaruaye informed the groups that the time of writing results and asking opponents to go to court if they are not certified is over and asked them to give their support to chief Great Ogboru’s political family as the only alternative to produce good governance in Delta state.

Responding, the chairman of New Vision New Delta, Engr. Ben Ojaruno and that of DFM comrade Tega Young described Ogboru and Omaruaye as quintessential politicians who go out of their ways to address the challenges of their people even without being called upon. He therefore assured Omaruaye of the group’s earlier resolve to support Ogboru and his political family and pledged the group’s continued support for APGA as far as the business of politics and governance are concerned.

Also speaking during the visit, Mrs Oyubu Mary who is a member of DFM described Ogboru and Omaruaye as a perfect match for Deltans and the good people of Delta Central and promised to support Ogboru and his political family come 2023.
