OKOBARO OF UGHIEVWEN AND OHWORHU 1 OF UDU OFFER BLESSINGS TO OMARUAYE AND OTHERS

The Senatorial Candidate of All progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Mr. Peters Omaruaye and other candidates of the party, yesterday, November 30th received Royal blessings from HRM. Mattew Ediri Egbi, Jp, Owhahwa 11, the Okobaro of Ughievwen kingdom and his courterpart from Udu, HRM, Barr. Emmanuel Batel Otete Delekpe, Ohworhu 1 (JP), the Ovie of Udu kingdom.

Omaruaye was accompanied to the palaces by the candidate of the party in Udu, Ughelli North and South Federal Constituencies, Olorogun Daniel Ekorhi and his couterpart from Ethiope Federal Constituency, Barrister Mike Ogboru, the candidates for Ughelli South Constituency, Barrister Abraham Erue and his couterpart from Udu State Constituency, Mr. Monday Okubio, also in attance were party leaders and supporters of the party in the state who paid homage to the revered Ughievwe and Udu monarchs as they plan to kicked off their campaign in their various constituencies come 2023.

Speaking during the visit on behalf of others candidates, Omaruaye told the kings that they came to seek for the blessings of the their royal fathers to protect them in the couse of their assignments.

The Senatorial hopeful also used the opportunity to inform the kings that his son who is the leader and the governorship Candidate of the party in the state, chief Great Ogboru is also coming soon to seek for their blessings.

Omaruaye described the kings as fathers whose prayers are very important in the course of any assignment and that is the reason why they were there. He told the Kings of his readiness to contest the 2023 Senatorial election and give equal representation to the eight local governments that make up the district.

Omaruaye further explained the reason for their contesting the 2023 election being, the introduction of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, that supplanted the incident form in the past, where politicians took advantage of the incident form in perpetrating identity fraud and thereafter tell you to go to court but that today, the BVAS has foreclosed this by ensuring that it verifies and accredits the voter using the biometrics embedded in it. So today our votes will count.

Responding, the Okobaro of Ughievwen kingdom
described Ogboru as a man after the heart of many while Ohworhu 1 (JP) said chief Ogboru remains the only genuine opposition in the state that through him many have benefited, He therefore names senator Agege as a good example of a beneficiary of Great Ogboru’s political influence.

Both kings described Omaruaye as a man who has what it takes to position the Senatorial District for progress. The kings prayed for Omaruaye and all APGA candidate for victory.
