OMARUAYE CONSULTS WITH MNMTN AND ADEJE COMMUNITY, APPEALS FOR THEIR VOTES

The Delta Central Senatorial  candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mr Peters Omaruaye paid a consultative visit to Modern Traditional Medicine Practitioners of Nigeria (MTMPN) and Adeje community in okpe local government Area of the state, on Monday, 30th of January, 2023 to seek for their votes ahead of the 2023 General elections.

Mr. Omaruaye was represented by the Director General  of his Campaign Council, Mr. Sonnie Emaniru in the two separate visits.

Speaking during the visit that took place in Uvwie, Okpe Local Government Area, Mr. Emaniru said they were there as representatives of the incoming Senator, Mr. Peters Omaruaye who has all it takes to represent the district at the natonal Assembly.

Speaking further, Emaniru informed them that, they were there to seek their support to vote all the APGA candidates in the upcoming elections. He noted that MNMTN is a major stakeholder in the medical sector and that when elected, Omaruaye will liase with his colleagues in the National Assembly to make sure the appropriate law is put in place to protect them in order to perform their duty without fear.

He assured them that when APGA candidates are elected, they will make sure the government will carry them  along in the formulation of health policies in order to make them functional and effective.

On the part of the Adeje community, Mr. Emaniru noted that, given the peculiarity of Adeje community as one of the oldest communities in Okpe Local Government Area, developing its infrastructure remains a key priority for the Senatorial hopeful when elected.

Speaking further, Emaniru said, Omaruaye will, “use the instrumentality of legislative oversight to ensure that what is due for Adeje will be rightly given to them and he will make sure he liaise’s with every arm of government to fulfil their various obligations to the good people of Adeje”.

Responding on behalf of the medical group, the State Chairman, Chief Odogwu Abita and the President General of the Adeje Community, Mr. Stephen Eyasere, President of Adeje Community and the Women’s Representative, Princess Okagbare, all pointed out that the leadership of the group and that of the community remain united and solidly committed to the task of building APGA as a viable choice for the people in the state who are seeking an alternative to the APC and PDP misrule.

They all spoke in one voice saying that, “Deltans are beginning to regard APGA as a viable option to the two major political parties that have ruled the state since 1999”.

Emaniru concluded by appreciating both groups for their warm reception. He was accompanied on the visit by the APGA candidate for Okpe, Uvwie and Sapele Federal Constituency, Barrister Amos Ejedegba and other party members.
