Date line, Thursday 17th November 2022: The Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom, his Royal highness, Air Vice Marshal Lucky Ararire, received the “Omaruaye Campaign Team” at the Royal palace in Umiaghwa-Abraka with fanfare and prayers, in what is now a well established routine for ‘the Omaruaye campaign’ during this campaign season.

As in past visits to other Royal fathers of the Urhobo nation, Omaruaye has received universal approval from the Royal fathers thus far visited in his quest to be the next Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial district. In unanimity, he has received prayers, blessings, and approval from all of the Royal fathers visited.

The prayers and task given to Omaruaye by the Royal fathers have so far been consistent. While praying for Gods protection of the candidate, and his victory in the forthcoming elections, they have also consistently tasked him in two key areas; That Omaruaye is amply qualified to give strong representation to the Urhobos at the red chambers, and giving past failures in representation, Urhobo “interests” have suffered at the federal level, and Omaruaye has been tasked to reverse this course forthwith, once elected senator in 2023! His Royal highness, Air Vice Marshal Lucky Ararire also urged the incoming senator to do his best in his mandated role in the oversight of the performance of the NDDC.

In his response, Peters Omuaraye asked for words of wisdom and guidance in his mission to restore pride to our Urhobo homeland, and to secure the future for a better Delta State after the 2023 elections.

Mr. Omaruaye was acconpanied on the visit by Barrister Michael Ogboru, APGA candidate for Ethiope Federal Constituency and Engr.John Omamuyovwi Otobrise, APGA candidste for ethiope East Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly election.
