…Visits the body of Ughelli Presidents Generals

On a recent visit to the Evwreni kingdom, Mr. Peters Omaruaye, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Delta Central Senatorial District candidate, was received with royal blessings from His Royal Majesty, Oghenekevwe Owin Kumane, the Ovie of the Evwreni kingdom. During the visit, Mr. Omaruaye pledged to make the people of Delta Central great again when elected.

Mr. Omaruaye stated that the visit was in two phases, the first being to formally inform the people of his bid to represent them in the upcoming election, and the second was to support Chief Great Ogboru, the APGA governorship candidate. The senatorial hopeful has vowed to visit all the kingdoms within the district to understand their pain points.

He praised the king for his love for his people and criticized the failure of the PDP and APC governments to bring positive change to the state and senatorial district. He pledged to bring a change based on equity and peace to the people, and not take resources from one community or the other.

During his visit, Mr. Omaruaye also paid a courtesy visit to the body of the “Presidents Generals” of Ughelli kingdom and assured them that he will not be a Senator who makes money at the expense of his constituents. He promised to sacrifice his own resources to better their lives and roll out projects that will benefit the people.

The spokesperson of the group responded by saying that they are ready to work for Mr. Omaruaye’s victory, noting that he is from the Ekiugbo community. The traditional ruler commended Mr. Omaruaye for his positive promises and urged him to keep the promises he made to the people when elected. He prayed for the victory of all APGA candidates in the upcoming election.
