Peters Omaruaye, APGA Senatorial Candidate for Delta Central Senatorial District

…Assures Voters That BVAS Will Eliminate Rigging

The Delta Central Senatorial District candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA), Mr. Peters Omaruaye has embarked on a continuous campaign drive through the Senatorial District in these last four weeks of the campaign season! He was joined by other candidates of the party in Delta State on Friday.

Omaruaye continued his consultations ahead of the February 25th general elections with a visit to the Orodje Market popularly known as the “Yam market” in Sapele LGA.

Amongst the other candidates present were Barrister Amos Ejedegba, the candidate for Uvwie, Okpe and Sapele Federal Constituency, and Engr. Elvis Ayomanor, the candidate for the Sapele State Constituency, and other party faithful and leaders.

Speaking during the visit, Mr. Peters Omaruaye thanked the people for the unwavering support they’ve bestowed upon APGA during this campaign season and urged them to transfer that enthusiasm into votes in the coming election. He assured those present that the time for rigging elections was in the past and urged all to come out and cast their votes for APGA candidates in the state. He said BVAS will ensure that rigging carried out through the “incidence form” is now in the past. Omaruaye empathized with the jubilant traders and passionately urged all to come out and vote for APGA candidates on the 25th of February, and on March 11th, 2023.

The candidates of the party in the Sapele, Uvwie, and Okpe federal constituency Barrister Amos Ejedegba, and the state constituency Engr. Elvis Ayomanor also urged the traders to vote in ‘the Ogboru progressive movement’, and all the candidates of the party in the coming general elections.

The team proceeded to Okuokoko, in Okoe LGA, on the outskirts of Aghbarho to meet with ‘Okada’ commercial bike riders and members of the clergy. The message from Mr. Omaruaye was the same, as he urged all the ‘Okada’ riders to go out and mobilize others and let them know the BVAS system has eliminated all forms of rigging in elections and that this time the people’s vote will count. Barrister Amos Ejedegba and Chief Engr. Otis Agbaminor urged the riders to be mindful when voting, and to be sure to “vote for the Kookoorooku”.

Clergymen praying for Peters Omaruaye

Mr. Omaruaye observed that in the past, those in power had taken to referring to Great Ogboru, the gubernatorial candidate, as the ‘Okada Governor’ owing to allegiance shown him by okada riders. “Today the BVAS has given you, the Okada riders, the power to elect the person of your choice, which is Chief Great Ogboru, whom all of you believe in!”.

At the meeting with the clergy, the Senatorial hopeful urged the clergymen to pray for his success at the pools. He noted that praying remains the one and only weapon for archiving victory after the hard work has been done.

Mr. Joseph Edevughe, speaking for the Okada riders association, lauded Omaruaye and the other candidates of the party present, for their understanding, and he noted that the APGA agenda remains the only way to achieve progress. “We are adopting APGA as our choice in the February and March elections”.

Bishop Dr. Kennedy Ejoyoma Turtoe assured the Senatorial hopeful that they are solidly behind APGA and all her decisions in respect of the 2023 general elections. “On our part as Clergymen, our primary assignment is Prayer, which we have started already and we will also make sure we mobilize the church to vote for all APGA candidates”.
