..identifies with the Great Ogboru Political Family

On Thursday, a large and enthusiastic crowd of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) supporters warmly welcomed the Jubilee Campaign train for the 2023 polls in Delta State. The motorcade, led by APGA gubernatorial candidate Olorogun Great Ogboru, made a grand entrance into Sapele, exciting the crowd with its presence.

Accompanied by other party candidates, including Delta Central Senatorial District candidate Mr. Peter Omaruaye, Barrister Amos Ejedegba – the party candidate for Uvwie, Sapele, and Okpe Federal Constituency – and Engr. Elvis Ayomanor, the party’s candidate for the Sapele State Constituency, as well as other party leaders and supporters, the APGA candidates began their campaign tour at the popular Sapele roundabout and traversed the nooks and crannies of Ward 10 and Ward 11.

The motorcade passed through Elume junction, briefly stopping at Amukpe, before proceeding to Okpe Hall, where the candidates addressed the people. The entourage then moved to the popular Olympia and Sapele market and had a brief stopover at Orodje Modern Market before concluding the day’s campaign at Amagiya road, all within Sapele Local Government Area. Along the way, they were met with a massive turnout of residents who poured out on the streets to identify with Chief Great Ogboru and the other APGA candidates as they passed by, reaffirming Ogboru’s popularity within the state.

Addressing the crowd during the rally, Mr. Peter Omaruaye, the senatorial hopeful, took a swipe at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates, calling on the electorate to retire them as they have nothing to offer Deltans. He highlighted the fact that the APC gubernatorial candidate had previously held several political offices under the PDP but failed to provide the needed infrastructure to better the lives of Deltans, indicating that they cannot deceive the people all the time.

Mr. Omaruaye further described Great Ogboru as a man with a soft spot for his people in Delta State, ready to offer good governance to the people. Concluding his speech, Mr. Omaruaye pointed out that the PDP and APC in the state have jointly spent 24 years making excuses and forgetting that leadership is all about service delivery.
