After serving a six-month suspension, Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is set to officially return to plenary sessions alongside her colleagues today (Tuesday).

Her lawyer, Victor Giwa, confirmed the resumption in an interview, emphasizing that the Senator has fulfilled her punishment and is fully entitled to resume legislative duties.
Earlier, the Senate had postponed its resumption from September 23 to October 7, 2025, extending its annual recess by two weeks and pausing deliberations on several key national matters.
Natasha’s legal team has also issued a stern warning to the upper chamber against any attempt to block her entry, insisting that the lawmaker’s return is both constitutional and rightful.
