The Honorable Commissioner for Special Duties (West) Bayelsa State, Chief Hon. Amb. Michael Magbisa has congratulated His Excellency Sen. Douye Diri, Executive Governor Bayelsa State, on his victory at the Supreme Court on Friday, August 24.
Honorable Magbisa in a message made available to his media unit August 24, 2024, noted that Governor Diri had overcome a major distraction to his administration which is largely caused by the greed and ill-intentions of the APC and its candidate in Bayelsa State, stating that it was a well established fact that Chief Timipre Sylva and the APC lost woefully in the last governorship poll and that it was completely out of place for them to trouble the state with the unnecessary and frivolous lawsuits seeking to be declared winners of an election they lost squarely.
Chief Magbisa described the victory as a beacon of hope and an inspiration to all who do justice, he said the victory is a testament to Senator Diri’s commitments to justice and uprightness. He therefore expressed confidence in Governor Diri’s readiness in driving the state to more enviable heights.
