Tribunal Declares PDP’s Ombugadu Winner Of Nasarawa Guber Poll

The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal (GEPT) sitting in Lafia, Nasarawa State has reversed the results of the March 18 election and declared David Ombugadu of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of the election.

Delivering the judgement virtually on Monday, the Tribunal chaired by Justice Ezekiel Ajayi annuled the result declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) which gave victory to the incumbent Governor, Audu Alhaji Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Justice Ajayi declared PDP’s Ombugadu, a former Two-term House of Representatives member as the lawfully elected governor of the State.
