Uniform Security Groups plans Games to promote unity and public trust in Uyo

The National Association of Uniform Voluntary Organizations (NAUVO) is poised to launch the Uniform Security Tournament in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State Capital. Scheduled to commence with preliminary activities on May 20, 2026, the tournament will take place from June 18th to 27th, 2026, at the Uyo Township Stadium.

According to Mr. Ntokon Edo, Coordinator of the Association in Akwa Ibom State, the tournament aims to foster unity among uniform organizations, promote physical fitness, and enhance public trust.

The objectives of the tournament are to promote unity, discipline, and healthy competition among Uniform Security Organizations in Akwa Ibom State, while supporting Governor Umo Eno’s ARISE AGENDA by creating opportunities for youths and strengthening security management.

The Planning Committee Chairman, Pst Emmanuel Brown, disclosed that approximately 15,000 personnel from 21 uniform voluntary organizations will participate in sports events including football, drills, march past, and band displays.

Expected participants include Peace Corp of Nigeria, Man O’ War, NFSS, Royal Rangers, Boys Brigade, and other prominent uniform security organizations in Akwa Ibom State.
