...As Jonathan is Expected as Special Guest of Honour in Abuja Branch’s Inaugural Gown to Town Symposion on 21.11.22.

The University of Port Harcourt Alumni Association, Abuja Chapter has wished Former President Goodluk Ebele Jonathan a Happy 65th Birthday Anniversary.

A message from Mrs Phil Okoroafor, President of the Abuja Chapter of the Alumni Association, said the Chapter was indeed proud of former President Goodluck Jonathan who has shown leadership while he was president and has continued afterwards to be sort after by many world leaders and institutions for his sterling leadership qualities.

The former president is considered to be the number 1 alummus of the Uniport Alumni Association, being a member of the pioneer set of 1977 as well as being a member of the association while serving as President of Nigeria.

Tomorrow being Monday, November 21st, former president Jonathan will be the Special Guest of Honour at the University of Port Harcourt Alumni Association, Abuja Chapter’s inaugural Gown to Town Symposium with the theme: Graduate Marketplace Readiness as a tool for Economic Growth”,

Emeritus Professor Nimi Briggs has also been confirmed as Chairman of the Ocassion. The symposium will also feature a Keynote Address by Sir Alex Otti, while a panel of accomplished speakers who have distinguished themselves in various sectors of the economy will discuss the theme and proffer practical solutions.

Also expected to grace the occasion is the National President of the Alumni Association, Mr. Ule Williams.

The panellists are, Professor Yakubu Ichefu, Nancy Illoh Nnaji, Achinivu Okorafo and the discussion will be moderated by Bosun Ayeni.

The venue of the event is the NAF Conference Center’s Banquet Hall, Jahi, Abuja. Time is 12 noon prompt.

Mrs Okoroafor said, the expected outcome of the symposium will be actionable decisions that the Chapter in particular and other chapters of the University of Port Harcourt Alumni Association can
execute towards making the school greater.
