As the 2023 General elections approach, let’s not forget the mass murders by Bandits, Boko Haram, ISWAP, Kidnappers, and that, there has been no solutions from 7 + years of a most sanctimonious and hypocritical regime, parading a bogus integrity since it’s inception.

Let’s not also forget what seems to be a tolerant attitude from the government, something like a soft spot for the terrorists attacking, killing and maiming across Nigeria.

Let’s not forget that the Previous governments in this present republic, especially the immediate past administration of Goodluck Jonathan had its failings in terms of handling the emergence of Insurgency from the North East.

Let’s remember that Nigeria has suffered militancy in the South South and now terrorism, kidnappings all over the northern states of Nigeria. Let’s remember the tens of thousands of innocent children, women, men including our gallant soldiers who found themselves in a compromised environment and have died in these past sordid years.

Let’s keep in mind the admonitions of various countrymen who have alerted us with now familiar phrases like, “they collude”, “arm yourselves “, “Terror must be ballanced”, terrorists cannot go around with assault automatic weapons, and you deprive citizens of ordinary licenced rifles. Do you expect them to defend themselves with bottles and catapults? The right to a secured life is a fundamental human right and cannot be subject to the whims and caprices of any government in power.

As we approach this comming elections, let’s not forget those who deceived Nigerians to impose, through the votes of the gullible, the present government that has left Nigeria in a state of anomy. And as the elections approach those brothers and sisters who still continue to use their intellect, social media influence to promote the elements that put us where we are today should realise that Nigerians are watching them and they are not fooled.

The light at the end of the tunnel should be encouraging. We have reached the end of the era of Militancy, Insurgency, kidnapping, Yahoo Yahoo Politics and Economics. We are entering the era of the REVOLUTIONARIES and we dare to dream for the emergence of a better country.

There must be redemption, for as Martin Luther King said, unearned suffering is redemptive. For those who have been murdered in cold blood, they must be avenged. Let’s not forget the Chibok Girls,  the Dapchi students, the Abuja Kaduna train hostages and the many others facing persecution across our dear country.

It is expected that moving forward in our democratic political journey, a multi party system and the possibility of having independent candidacy at the earliest possible time, will offer men of credible and competent abilities the opportunity to present themselves for political office. With the newly signed electoral Act, I am of the opinion that, given adequate resources and vigilant participation of the electorate, there is a strong likelihood that we will have the People’s choices voted into various political positions in the very near future.
